Abbey Placements is looking for someone to run a press brake for a local manufacturing company in Hudson, IL (just outside Normal).

Description of Press Brake Operator

• Run a press brake to make parts for large agricultural equipment (e.g. grain carts)
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Full time, long-term position
• 1st & 2nd shift positions
• Temp-to-perm

Requirements of Press Brake Operator

• Experience with brake press machining required
• Experience reading blueprints or part drawings preferred
• Must have reliable transportation, position NOT on a bus line
• Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check
• Reliable work history with good references required

Compensation of Press Brake Operator

• $18-$20 per hour
